Before pregnancy, I thought it was bad to buy baby clothes before the birth of babies. But when I got pregnant, my opinion changed. So I wanted to go shopping, look at tiny children’s little things, hold them in my hands.
When I went to the children’s store for the first time, my tummy was about 5 months. I gave my husband and mother the word that I would not buy anything, but I would just take a look.
It turned out that it was very difficult to leave without a purchase from such a store. But at that time I kept myself – in fact gave the word! And when there was not much time left before the birth, I decided not to impose such a duty as the purchase of children’s things on my husband and parents, but to buy everything I needed beforehand. After all, by that time I had clearly imagined what kind of a pram I want, a bed, what color the envelopes should be for discharge, and what style we would need sliders and vests.
Imagine how upset I would be if my husband bought something that was not what I wanted. I did shopping with my husband, but on the sly from my mother. She – a man too superstitious – to know about it, would have clutched her heart. But I have never regretted that I bought everything I needed in advance. Yes, and my husband was grateful to me for this, because he did not have to go shopping in search of baby clothes.
Before the birth, we had time to buy a cot, and a wonderful set of bed linen with a canopy, and a pram, and a whole package of clothes and diapers. A canopy bed looks so cute! How many years have passed, and I still remember this wonderful time.
Dear readers, do you think you need a canopy in the crib?
