I want to devote my today’s article to children’s books with which you can play. Of course, we will talk about the literature for kids – children of younger preschool age. The hit parade will consist only of those books that are in my son’s personal library in order to share experience, so to speak.
So, let’s start with the most simple and familiar to all Turnips. Not so beloved would Repka, if it were not a book-panoramic. Since childhood, I remember these books, and now I’m happy to buy them for my child.
Playing with this book is easy. Each illustration adds one hero in the order of a fabulous queue. I read a fairy tale, and the child looks at the growing picture and informs whom the grandfather called, whom the grandma called, and so on.
Who is my mom?
Another literary favorite of my son – Who is my mother ?. The book is double: on large pages adult animals are drawn, on small ones – young ones. Turning the pages, you need to match the mother and child so that there is a correct pair.
In addition, on the cover on the side there is a small ticker with images of animals, clicking on which, the child will hear the voice of a particular animal. And though not all voices are well recognized (for example, a camel sounds somewhat tigre-like), the child still likes. And it is always possible to correct what was heard later in the zoo.
Jack Tickle Firefly Funny
The book, from which I am crazy myself. The son calls her blue book and drags me to read it several times a day.
No wonder, because it is worth opening the first page, how you get from the real night world: bats hanging upside down, volume fireflies, battleship rolling in a clump.
The most beloved pages are the cowardly dollop who hides behind a tree, then crawls out again, depending on whether the page closes or opens, and a funny owl that crawls out of the hollow. The child himself controls the actions in the illustrations, and this delights him.
The pictures in the book are gorgeous: bright, clear, conveying the night atmosphere. Another huge plus is that the book describes those animals that are rarely found in Russian children’s literature. There is a fox-fox, our favorite tarsier, and a cicada.
By the way, the page with the cicada, when opened, publishes a soft crash, similar to the chatter.
As for the poems, the rhymes are not always accurate, although the meaning of the poems is simple and clear to the child. But what to do, it’s a translation. True, Samuel Yakovlevich Marshak, even in translations, did not say goodbye to his magnificent rhymes.
We also have a couple of popular now inexpensive books with eyes. Also quite interesting – the child is attracted.
And finally, one more panorama of the animals. Personally, I like the book because it is printed on a rather thick cardboard, that is, it is not so easy to tear it.
In addition, there is drawn a fairly large number of little animals, which are distributed across pages depending on the habitat. That is, the boar, bear, fox – in the forest, and the cat, hamster and parrot – at home.
True, there is one poem in this book, which me pretty much amused:
That did not become gray,
Every day wiped.
And what kind of books do your children like?
