As soon as I became pregnant, I began to pay more attention to children’s literature, as well as to poems about children. You know, when you know motherhood, the world opens in a completely new way. So for me, the world has opened its secret rooms.
I didn’t even suspect that there are so many touching poems about kids! Such literature helped me to fully open up and feel in myself an incredible craving for my little twins.
To be honest, before I found out about my pregnancy, I had an idea about children, about loving them, and was quite detached. I was cold to the kids somehow.
My friends walk with children, are touched by them, but I did not see anything special in motherhood. And everyone was amazed at this! They said that I was somehow not so, I was offended, but I did not show it.
Being pregnant, in the evenings I read tender, lovely poems about children, and began to notice how my love for my crumbs is growing. Now my girls have grown up, but I still pay attention to the poems about children. I often re-read them and remember the first steps and the first words of my children.
We have a lot of books at home about children, education, family relationships. But there is a treasured notebook, where I wrote out touching poems about children, which I especially liked.
