How kindergartens are organized abroad: particularities of gardens in Belgium
Another story about how the European kindergartens are organized. The mother of three children, Elena Orel-Deshani, described the peculiarities of the gardens in Belgium.
Belgian gardens, like all kindergartens in Europe, encourage children’s freedom and do not overload children with excessive control. But, at the same time, early start learning. What we call a kindergarten in Belgium is mdash; This is a school for kids, where they go very crumbs.
However, neither parents nor children are embarrassed, and the Belgian quality education is considered one of the best in Europe. More details about other interesting moments in the kindergartens of Belgium in the story of Elena.
The class in the baby school is divided into educational and play areas, where groups of 3 to 5 people are engaged. All the changes between classes children spend on the air.
For the time of daytime sleep in the center of the game room are placed cots-cots. Who where fell mdash; there and sleeps. And the children adore it. Those who do not want to sleep mdash; play in another room with a tutor.
In all kindergartens in Belgium, they use a common development program in the game. It includes physical education, music education, native language, environmental studies and the beginnings of mathematical knowledge. Each child is given a special daddy, where they put a weekly plan of classes and activities, texts of poems and songs that are now being learned in school.
Once a trimester the teacher meets with parents and discusses the dynamics of the child's development. The teacher tells how and what the child was doing, listens to the suggestions and wishes of the parents.
In this last year of the toddler school, children are trained for training in a regular school. At the end of the year, the Student Support Center decides how much each preschooler is willing to learn further. If everything is ok mdash; the child goes to first grade. If he is not yet ready for school, he will either be left for another year in the pre-school institution, or sent to home schooling, or they will pick up a special education.
It is very convenient that the toddlers' schools are in the same building as the first classes. Thanks to this, the transition to primary school goes without stress.
But the main thing for me is that for a single day none of the children said: Mom, today I do not want to go to school. In the morning, already, jump skip! For me it's mdash; An objective indicator that children are good and they are happy in school.
