Recently I climbed the stairs, skipping photos of my children when they were 1 and 3 years old, and suddenly stopped. I pass these photographs many times a day, but for some reason at that moment I stopped and looked intently at their young faces.
I began to cry, because my heart filled with regret. In fact, I do not remember many details of that year – it was one of the most difficult in my life. I slept no more than two hours in a row every night. My younger continued to wake up every two hours or so, and my elder got up at 5am. Most of my days ended in tears.
