What are you, laminated hair? – Asked a friend. At that time, I had just returned from a long trip to the sea. In theory, the hair should look like a bundle of straw, exhausted by salt water and the sun. But they, indeed, even to my surprise, looked healthy, smooth and even heavy. Although my hair is light and all the time pushing.
I used to rarely use hair products at all. Basically, everything was limited to shampoo and conditioner. Yes, and my hair was short before. Mom was extremely reluctant to braid my pigtails, and she decided that I was very punished when I was 10 years old. Ever since, and up to 20 years, I have made myself a familiar square.
But then I suddenly had an unexpected idea. I really wanted braids, elastics, hairstyles, hair curlers. Apparently, I did not have enough of this in due time. And I decided to grow hair. And with long hair came problems.
Namely, more frequent washing, split ends and lack of volume. The hair did not change its appearance. I certainly do not complain. My hair is not the worst. But, as it happens, I would like a slightly thicker braid, a little more volume, a bit longer, and the like.
Let’s return to the moment when a friend asked me a sacramental question. What happened to my hair?
I went to rest in Thailand. In this country, in addition to a huge number of souvenirs, dried fruits, clothes and shoes, there is also a means to care for themselves. If you are interested, I will tell you about my impression of the natural coconut oil that I brought from there. For the first time – one bottle. In the second – already five: all girlfriends and relatives.
And now, while shopping in one of the streets of Thailand, I noticed something like a salon. The inscription said that there should be selling something interesting. I, of course, went. Having bought a bunch of every soap with the scent of fruit, coconut oil, crystal deodorant (awesome thing!), I also bought two tiny bottles of oil. But not coconut, but olive.
I sniffed it for a long time, trying to determine what to do with it. In the end, the seller tried to illustrate to me in sign language what it was for hair: hair, he said. I decided to take a sample. We had to take more …
I started using it already there, in Thailand. Since I’m a fan of diving, my hair, whether they wanted to or not, took a sea bath. Moreover, we only got home in the evening and, having untied the bundle, I scrubbed a handful of salt from my hair.
And so, I decided to smear my hair with new hair after washing. It smells of jasmine, and to the touch the usual oil, slightly greenish. The hairstyle became similar to wet chemistry. But in Thailand, everyone does not care what your hairstyle is.
And my hair imperceptibly began to turn from dry beams, exhausted by salt and sun, into soft and smooth curls. In such a form they are preserved upon arrival. And for the first time in my life, I didn’t trim my tips after a trip to the sea.
Now I also continue to smear my hair with miraculous oil. But thrifty. It remains a bit. And on the next trip, I will definitely buy a few of these bubbles.
What explains this effect? In itself, olive oil is very healing. It is used in medicine and cosmetology. Oil has an enveloping effect and nourishes. It acts both inside and out. For example, if you have crunches of bones and joints, one spoon of olive oil every day and in a couple of months the problem will disappear. Oil compensates for the lack of cartilage lubrication.
Olive oil has long been used in hair products and for skin. Here is its enveloping effect and worked in the case of my hair. Regular lubrication of hair with oil created a protective film and better than any lamination protected hair from the effects of aggressive factors.
Perhaps there were other ingredients in the magic tube, some kind of hoods and so on. It was all written in Thai. And I, unfortunately, during my stay in Thailand, have not learned Thai. )) But, I studied the effects of olive oil, read about its properties. They say that you can use oil and in its pure form. Also, it is used in the composition of homemade hair masks. In effectiveness, I was convinced from my own experience.
