I want to talk about my experience of permanent hair straightening. I have always loved experimenting with hairstyles, and once I decided to straighten my naughty strands, and only then do some lamination procedures.
For permanent hair straightening, I naturally went to the salon, because at that time I had no idea how to do it at home.
Hair straightening professionals in the barbershop
I went through such a procedure as permanent hair straightening, something like this: they washed my hair with shampoo (they said it was very deep), then put on some special remedy and left to sit in this state for about twenty minutes. After the expiration of the set time, when the hair had already begun to straighten a little, they applied a heat-resistant spray on it and then began to straighten each strand with a hot iron.
After this procedure, a special fixative was applied to the hair and again left alone for fifty minutes. Then the hair was dried with a hairdryer. In the end, I spent about four hours in the cabin that day. I was very pleased with the result! Hair began to look smooth and long, which, incidentally, is quite natural after such a procedure.
Some time passed, and the grown hair again began to take the form of sheep’s hair. Money and time to continue permanent hair straightening in the salon was pitiful, and I began to look for means to make the hair smooth at home.
Hair straightening at home
In a specialty store for hairdressers, I purchased a special chemical spray that included sodium hydroxide and ammonium thioglycate. Also bought another latch (neutrolyzer) and air conditioning.
Permanent hair straightening at home I do so. First, I distribute the entire chemical spray over the entire length of the hair or only on regrown hairs, it all depends on the situation.
Then evenly distribute the comb and wait for the time specified in the instructions. After that, I fix the result with a neutralizer and dry it using an ironing device. The effect is, of course, not as chic as in the cabin, but it suits me more. Hair remains only slightly wavy, and curls go almost completely. The action lasts about nine months.
