I think the first two parts turned out to be more than voluminous and useful for you. I want to say that I chose all the less common diseases of fish that I have less common and which are most often found. I left 5 types of diseases for a snack. Here they are:
Fin rot is an infectious disease of aquarium fish that is caused by special bacteria. These bacteria affect the ray and interbeam tissue of the fins of aquarium fish. All types of fish, regardless of their age, can get sick with this disease.
Juveniles are prone to the disease most of all and very often due to fin rot you can meet the massive death of young people. In addition to young animals, individuals are also more mature.
The causative agents of fin rot can get into your aquarium with aquarium fish acquired in a store or on the market, with soil, water, live food from natural reservoirs. The young begin to ache since its pectoral and tail fin disappears.
In adults, this trend is not observed. The primary sign of fin rot disease is that the edges of the fins have become dimmed with a bluish-white color, and then the ends of the rays begin to fall off.
At the last stage of the disease, when aquarium fish begin to die en masse, large white ulcers appear in those places where the fins have fallen off.
If the fish got sick with fin rot, it will have a very long recovery process. It all depends on the degree of damage to the fins, the age of the fish and the conditions in which it was kept. At the initial stage of the disease, fin rot can be easily cured with the help of therapeutic baths.
When treating baths, either bicillin-5 or green malachite is used. In the treatment of malachite green, the treatment of fish continues for four days only with fresh treatment solution.
All therapeutic solutions and aquarium water, in which the fish are between treatments, must be aerated thoroughly. When treating bicillin-5, when preparing a therapeutic solution, adhere to the proportion of 1,500,000 units per ten liters of water. Treat aquarium fish need every day for half an hour during the week.
The concentration of the antibiotic can not be changed and you need to prepare only fresh treatment solution.
When treating in the general aquarium, biomitsin is used and the sick fish are treated for two to three months. The proportion of therapeutic solution is as follows: 1.5 grams per 100 liters of water.
Therapeutic drug should be added to the aquarium water on every seventh day.
In the treatment of white streptotsidom taken the dosage is as follows: 100-220 grams per 100 liters of water. Terms of adding the drug to the general aquarium are exactly the same as in the treatment with biomycin. Also used malachite green with copper sulfate and bitsillin-5.
To disinfect your aquarium, make a 3 percent solution of chloramine; for the treatment of aquarium equipment, fishing gear and soil, use boiling; water plants must be treated with a solution of bitsillina-5. To avoid the occurrence of such a disease of aquarium fish, try to prevent soil from taken from natural bodies of water that have not been processed before getting into your aquarium, try to create optimal conditions for your aquarium fish.
Remember, proper care for aquarium fish guarantees you no problems!
This disease of aquarium fish can be attributed to the invasive disease, which occurs due to the ciliates that live on the skin of the fish and on its gills. Almost all fish at any age suffer from this disease. You can bring this filth into your jar with sick fish, soil, food taken from unfavorable reservoirs.
The first sign of the disease of trichodinosis is that the body of the fish is covered with whitish bloom in some places and acquire a dull hue on which mucus over time begins.
With this disease, the fish begins to suffer from bad skin and gill gas exchange. Over time, signs of suffocation can be noticed, gill filaments become inflamed, and the fish begin to itch against plants and soil.
In this disease, the gill epithelium of the fish suffers, as a result of which the gill capillaries are broken. Trichodinoz is treated with a 0.2% solution of common salt, or malachite green in the proportion of 50-100 milligrams per 100 liters of water.
In these solutions, the fish need to contain up to two days.
Nodular disease also belongs to the category of invasive ones, which is caused by sporozoans. The heat-loving fish, contained in aquariums with a low temperature, are mostly affected. Young people are most susceptible to the disease.
On the skin and gills of the fish appear yellowish and white nodules of various sizes, in which there are spores of the parasite.
With the defeat of the gills in aquarium fish, gas exchange is disturbed and the fish do not have enough oxygen. Unfortunately, the treatment of this disease is not developed. The only thing you can protect yourself is prevention.
Control the temperature of the water in your aquarium, put new fish in quarantine, remove dead fish from the aquarium in a timely manner, disinfect aquarium water, soil and all inventory.
This disease of aquarium fish also belongs to a number of invasive ones and is caused by a special infusion that affects the skin and gills of the fish. Almost all species at any age get sick.
The causative agent of the disease in your aquarium, you can bring with sick fish, water, live food, plants and soil.
Sick fish begin to rub hard on plants and soil. The body of the fish is covered with a mucous coating of a grayish-bluish color, which in consequence leads to a violation of skin respiration.
Sick fish refuses to eat and in 80% of cases this leads to the death of the fish.
This disease is treated with special baths with potassium permanganate solution (half a gram per 10 liters of water) for 7 days; or use green malachite in a proportion of 7 mg per 10 liters of water. In addition, a solution of bicillin-5 in the proportion of 500,000 units per 100 liters of water and copper sulfate – 10 grams per 10 liters of water are used.
The procedure for treatment with copper sulfate will take from five to seven days.
Peptic ulcer disease is considered to be an infectious disease of aquarium fish, the causative agent of which is bacteria. The causative agent of peptic ulcer gets into the aquarium from natural reservoirs with live food, plants or water, or with fish that have not passed the preliminary quarantine.
Between aquariums, the sore can spread through common aquarium equipment.
When a fish gets sick, its body eventually becomes covered with small dark specks, which after a certain period of time will turn into red sores, inside which moldy fungi begin to actively develop. In sick fish, intestines will eventually become inflamed, which subsequently leads to the death of the fish.
They treat ulcer disease either in the general aquarium or in special vessels.
In special medical trays, potassium permanganate solution is used in the proportion of half a gram per 10 liters of water. Sick fish are placed in the treatment solution many times every 12 hours for a time from 10 to 20 minutes.
After you have treated the fish, you need to disinfect the aquarium plants with a solution of bicillin-5. If you treat in the general aquarium, then you need to add a solution of bicillin-5 daily for six days. It is also possible for these purposes to use biomitsin in the proportion of 1.5 grams per 100 liters of water.
The drug is introduced into the aquarium every seventh day during the month.
