In my opinion, a dress is a sign of femininity. Of course, in jeans or trousers it is sometimes very comfortable, but do not forget that there are cases where it is more appropriate to appear in a dress or skirt.
A separate category of women’s wardrobe are open outfits. However, they are not present at all. Why? I think there are several reasons.
First, the psychological aspect. Not everyone feels confident in such models.
Secondly, the skin condition. If it peels off, is full of acne, redness or just looks old, then of course you don’t want to show it in such abundant quantities.
Third, the features of the figure. For too thin or too fat women, open dresses are not the best option. Better to pick something else.
Open shoulders are classics. If such a dress is made of a very light fabric, then it is preferable to wear it in the summer. But there are also material textures that will look appropriate in the cold season.
In addition to this model, you can use coats of the coat type. And open dresses with a corset can be worn by combining with various tops or turtlenecks.
The asymmetry technique is also often used when sewing open dresses. Most often it is a cut on one shoulder, as well as asymmetric decoration with decorative elements or a hem with different edges.
Drapery, pleating, twisted details, rhinestones, sequins, feathers, lace, various inserts are often used for decoration.
