A memorable event in the Haute Couture Week in Paris was the showing of the new collection of the Givenchy Haute Couture.
Collection of 10 dresses
Undoubtedly, the special charm to this action was added by the fact that the presentation took place on the Paris embankment. Traditionally, the Givenchy Fashion House, while creating its haute couture collections, prefers to dwell on a small number of clothing models, while relying on the high quality of its products.
This time was no exception, and therefore the collection consists of 10 dresses. It is impossible to ignore the fact that 9 of them are ivory or white and only one is made in a range of beige and metallic shades.
Birds of Paradise as inspiration
Designer Riccardo Tisci was inspired by the birds of paradise and that is why the dresses in the collection turned out to be so airy, from light materials and angelic colors. All outfits are created according to the same principle – a complex top of dense material and a transparent maxi skirt. The decor used was embroidery, lace, pearls and sequins, which look amazing in the evening in the rays of light.
