Often, accessories create an original and memorable image. Of course, this also applies to leather gloves, to which I am not indifferent from my school years. I remember how on special occasions I put on my mother’s gloves and expensive fashion in front of classmates =)
Love for them has not passed yet. It seems to me that there is simply no better option for spring and autumn. They are able to protect your hands from the weather and at the same time look stylish. But since things from genuine leather are quite expensive, then their choice should be taken carefully.
Leather or substitute?
Now the substitute makes it so that you can stand for a long time to consider, feel, sniff products and never understand what is in front of you. At home, I have often tested my skin for naturalness in a rather simple way with the help of matches. But … agree, in the store when buying is not the best way =)
So how to be? The easiest option in this case is to put your hand in the glove for a while. If at the same time it warms up, it means that it is genuine leather. If it remains cold – artificial.
One of the most important parameters is the correctness of the cut. Gloves should not reach in length! At the same time, it is necessary that they stretch the width by 10-12% in width, fitting beautifully the brush and taking its shape. After removal, it should acquire the original appearance.
You need to look closely at the gloves – whether they are painted evenly throughout the thickness. Ideally, the color should completely coincide in different areas. However, a slight difference in shades is allowed, which is determined by the characteristics of the skin.
A lot of stitches are a bad sign that threatens to quickly lose their original look. The seam can be both internal and external, but the main thing – solid, without skipping stitches.
But experts do not recommend buying gloves made of shreds, since in any case they will lose their shape very quickly. With daily wear – a couple of weeks.
