Development of fine motor skills (according to the Montessori method)
Montessori materials are an integral part of the so-called pedagogical “preparatory environment,” which encourages the child to manifest the possibilities of his own development through amateur performances that correspond to his individuality.
We need: a tray, a measuring cup with a mark of water level, a vessel with a large (small) hole, you can wider or narrower than a glass (more or less measuring cup), jars of different volumes, a rag.
Purpose of the game: pay attention to the different volumes of blood vessels.
In the game, the kid develops small motor skills of the hands, coordination of movements, the concept of a lot-little.
Tint water with food paint. Pour the water into the measuring cup to the mark. A measuring glass and a vessel put next to each other, so you can see at what level the water in one of the vessels. Show the child how to pour water. If the vessel is larger than a measuring cup, then the water will not fill it completely. If less, the water will not fit in the vessel, etc. Showing how you are pouring water from a measuring stack
ana in a vessel, it is important to teach the child to understand that not all vessels are the same.
