Children up to 3 months are shown not more than 30 mgkg per day in 2-3 doses. The tablet form of the drug is used after a meal twice a day, 125-250 mg, in the form of a suspension, up to 1000 mg can be taken. The course is designed for 5-10 days.
Cefazolin, as well as other cephalosporins, is calculated by the physician based on the body weight of the baby. The medication is prescribed in severe forms of otitis media and only in injections that are administered as intramuscularly or intravenously.
The dosage is 40 mg / kg body weight the kid. Rarely, but it is permitted to increase the dosage to 100 mgkgkg of weight. Cefazolin, as a rule, is administered four times and treated for at least 10 days.
