Rules of operation of a stroller-transformer
Even during pregnancy, every future mother primarily pays attention to strollers. Of course, the first transport of the baby should be not only convenient and high-quality, but also easy to operate. In children’s shops many models of different colors and functionality are sold, but not all of them are comfortable in everyday use. What are the pros and cons of the transformer, is it difficult to assemble it?
The stroller of this model is universal: it is suitable for newborns and children under three years old, can be used at any time of the year. In the transformer there are no exchangeable blocks: cradles and walking. Its back and footrest are adjusted in such a way that when taking a horizontal position, it is possible to place a soft carrying for the baby on the base. When the baby grows up and does not need a cradle, it can be removed and transformed into a stroller version of the stroller, where the child can sit or lie.
The maximum permissible weight of a child for a stroller-transformer is 15 kilograms. A baby who weighs more is best transplanted to a bicycle.
Dimensions of wheelchairs of this type are similar in many respects to each other, but they can differ in some parameters depending on the models.
- Weight (from 10 to 19 kg) and size (wheelbase width 65 cm, length – 90 cm). Because of the large mass, many parents are thinking about whether to buy a transformer. In a house without an elevator it is very problematic to get out of the apartment and climb back with the baby and the stroller when the woman walks alone. Some models do not enter the elevator because of their size.
- Size of the cradle. On average, the length of the berth is 80 cm. There are transformers in which it is 75-79 cm, and in some it is 85 cm. The width varies from 27 to 35 cm.
- The diameter of the wheels (average 28-32 cm). They are always large, which ensures a good patency of the stroller on any surface even in bad weather. In some models, the rear are larger than the front ones. Wheels can be inflatable or cast rubber. Experts recommend to give preference to the second option, which, unlike the first, does not need to be constantly pumped up.
