Allergic dermatitis – features of the disease and methods of treatment
Allergic dermatitis in a child is characterized by skin rashes, the manifestation of which is often confused with diathesis, milkwoman, or swab. In fact, there is little in common between these diseases, and if the struggle with pancreatic or diathesis can pass without significant efforts on the part of the parents, allergic dermatitis requires special control and attention in the treatment.
Dermatitis from allergies manifests itself on the skin in children focal reddening, which are strongly flaky and itchy, But to attribute this illness to skin diseases is impossible. These manifestations are more likely to indicate a malfunction in the baby’s immune system, and skin rashes are only a consequence and do not carry the threat of infection to others.
The reason for such rashes – direct contact with allergens in the form of cosmetic, medicinal, perfume and other means. The type of allergic reaction depends on the nature of the affecting allergen, which is divided into three types: food, contact and respiratory (more details on each species will be given below).
Often allergic dermatitis is confused with atopic dermatitis. What is the difference?
Allergic dermatitis can occur from direct exposure to an allergen, that got into the body of the child from its surrounding habitat. For example, the increased sensitivity of the skin has reacted with an allergic reaction of the body to particles of a powder that has not been rinsed off after washing the baby’s clothes.
