With Bifidumbacterin, the tummy will work like a clock
Immediately after birth, the sterile intestines of the baby begin to colonize different bacteria. Often this process is not quite perfect, and the child has symptoms of dysbiosis. In pediatrics, the use of probiotics is widely practiced to accelerate the development of friendly microflora in newborns. One of the most popular drugs is Bifidumbacterin.
Bifidumbacterin is a domestic preparation widely used in pediatric practice for the treatment of newborns. The composition of the medicament includes bifidobacteria Bifidobacterium bifidum. With their help, the normal intestinal microflora is restored, which:
- Suppress the development of pathogenic bacteria, fungi;
- prevents the absorption of toxins from the intestine into the blood and partially recycles them;
- promotes parietal digestion;
- synthesizes vitamins, enzymes and amino acids;
- strengthens the body’s immunity in general.
As an auxiliary component in the preparation, lactose (milk sugar) is used. It activates the growth of bifidobacteria.
The effectiveness of the drug has been proved by many clinical studies involving patients not only with dysbiosis, but also with acute intestinal infections, chronic gastrointestinal diseases, acute respiratory viral infections, infectious mononucleosis, hepatitis and other health problems.
Based on the materials of the III Russian Congress Modern technologies in pediatrics and pediatric surgery, conducted in 2004, observations of newborns in Moscow’s maternity hospitals showed that Bifidumbacterin promotes the process of early adaptation and the formation of a balanced community of different types of bacteria in the intestines of toddlers.
