The birth of crumbs is a huge happiness and a real miracle for the young mother and the whole family. However, often a woman at the end of pregnancy and after childbirth is heavily exhausted, sleeps badly and only snatches, feels a sense of uncertainty and anxiety, some have nervous breakdowns. All these symptoms indicate the presence of postpartum depression. Increasingly, today we hear this concept. What is postpartum depression? What is it expressed and how to fight it? Is it possible to prevent the onset of this condition?
On the eve of and after the birth, the woman experiences serious feelings: she has a sense of anxiety, she has to face a new, unusual situation, over which the young mother is unable to take control. These conditions negatively affect both the woman herself and her newborn baby.
Medicine takes this phenomenon seriously enough, considering postpartum depression as a dangerous disease. Physicians define it as one of the forms of depressive disorders that develops in mothers during the first months after the onset of infants into the world. According to statistics, 10-15% of young mothers have to face this condition, however, only 2-4% get qualified medical care.
