When does the baby begin to crawl? Basic stages and exercises
Many mothers after the birth of an infant are interested in the age at which they begin to crawl. Certainly, this skill will play a huge role in the future adult life, since it is crawling that prepares the crumb for direct walking.
Today we will talk about the main stages that most children overcome for the correct formation of the musculoskeletal system.
Before talking about exact terms, it is necessary to recall that each kid is individual, and some children miss the stage of moving on all fours, immediately standing on the legs.
Modern pediatricians attribute this phenomenon to the norm, but note that skipping the crawl period is undesirable, since sharp straightening can create a greater strain on the children’s spine. When the children begin to crawl, the dorsal muscles responsible for supporting the vertebral column in an upright position are being actively developed.
From the first days of life, neonatal patients have an unconditioned reflex: if the crumb is turned over to the tummy and its hands are put under his heels, it will start and move forward. Such actions are not realized by children and are reflexive. Such a reaction disappears by 12 weeks.
