The one-year old toddler is an avid traveler in an unfamiliar world and a passionate observer, so everything that gets in his way can turn into a game. Do not rush the child and do not get angry if the little one has stopped for a long time, looking at the bug.
Perhaps he sees her for the first time in his life. Let’s think together about what is better to pay attention to the child.
Weather. Her state and constant changes (warm or cold, it is raining, the sun is shining, the wind is blowing, and so on) is an excellent occasion for observation. More often admire the sky and compare its condition.
In windy weather, see how the wind shakes the branches of trees, listen to his song. Play the game “Sun and Rain”, the sun will be a baby.
Here he walks with his mother (it needs to be portrayed). Signal: “Rain”!
The child runs under his mother’s umbrella and hides. The game can be repeated several times.
And you can also turn the sunbeam into a “bunny” and play catch-up with the kid.
Water. Introduce the toddler to the properties of water: here it is poured, but it becomes cold, then warm.
Play Fisherman and the Fish: catch a net from the inflatable pool or a basin filled with water.
Sand. Show how dry sand is poured from a bucket into a mold, and tell us that it can be sifted through a funnel or sieve.
If wet sand, it retains the shape of the object in which it poured. Together with the baby, “cook” cakes for the doll, make small houses, mounds for toy animals or a ladder using a scapula.
And here are the pebbles. How many of them! What different!
It is necessary to make out everything, to stroke, to knock on everything. Throw a pebble into the water! Wham!
Where is he? Show your baby how you can lay out the outlines of various simple objects on the sand with pebbles: sun, boat, flag.
Oh, dandelion! First, a dandelion can be blown, and the feathers will scatter in different directions. And secondly, if you still pick an “unripe” yellow flower, gently tear a crisp stalk into several long strips, and then put it in a bowl of water, then the green stalk of the stalk will slowly curl and you will get a curly fairy-tale princess.
Now you can put the head on a twig – and the doll is ready.
Here is a tree! Teach the little explorer to distinguish between trees, bushes, grass. Ask your baby to show the height of the tree, stretching his fingers up or squatting.
Collect several leaves of different shapes (maple, oak, linden) and compare their shape. A little naughty boy will gladly respond to your proposal to say hello to a birch tree or hug an oak tree, and also have fun playing hide-and-seek, hiding behind a mighty tree trunk:
One two Three –
Go to the tree!
Games to imitate animals and objects will cheer up not only children but also parents. Try to play with the child in “Do as I do” or “Let’s go as quiet as a mouse”, “Jump as a hare”. More often “turn” the baby into a “horse”, “airplane”, “car” or “top”, encouraging him with verses:
Our horse rides
In the gray apples flank.
Doll, doll, dance,
The plane flies, flies,
sitting in it.
Here’s how a spinning spinning
Buzzed and lay down on the floor.
By the way, there are more complex types of imitation games in the world, they consist of several step-by-step actions. For example, “Cat and Mice” (a cat is a soft toy, on the contrary – a mink of a mouse: mother and a small one – mice).
The cat is sleeping. Mice run, jump, squeak. “Oh, woke the cat! – Meow? – Faster in the mink. The cat won’t catch us up. ”
There are many variations of this fun. The main thing is that the characters be familiar (for example, hares and fox) and toys should take part in the game.
Observation of the habits of birds and animals will enrich the child with new impressions, and you will be pushed to new ideas. We offer, as an example, the game “Cats and mice” by Vvedensky’s poem: it requires the ability to act on a signal, imitating mouse and cat movements.
In the lead roles – you are with the baby.
The mouse got out of the mink,
The mouse is very hungry.
Are there any dried crusts?
Maybe there is a crust in the kitchen?
And in the kitchen near the cabinet
Sees the mouse – someone’s paw.
Paw variegated, sharp claws.
Hey mouse, don’t yawn!
Quickly run away!
Run away from these places
And then the cat will eat.
There is another similar game –
Here is a shaggy dog
In the paws of his nose buried.
Quiet, he lies,
Whether sleeping, or sleeping.
Come to him, wake up,
And let’s see: will there be something ?!
What a walk without a ball game! First, teach the baby to throw the ball with both hands forward or just roll it to the mother.
For example: “Throw, Ksyusha, the ball! Now catch him back and roll to me. ”
Ask your child to walk along the curb of the walkway, saying:
On a flat track
Our feet are walking.
By pebbles, pebbles (jump),
In the hole – boo! (sit down).
More often compose tiny fairy tales about everything that occurs on the way, invent poems, sing songs that provoke movements. For example:
Rode the horse
We reached the corner,
Boarded the car,
We drove by car
We reached the river.
We walked along the road: top-top, top-top.
Ran along the track: top-top-top,
top top top.
Of course, a three or four year old child is no longer surprised by sand cakes, give him more complicated fun. Well, we have in stock and there are such.
To make it, you will need two glass jars, one should go through the neck of the other. We insert a smaller container into a larger and densely fill the space between the glass walls of the cans with earth. Now we collect some ants in the garden or park and plant them on this land.
Then we cover the nest with a lid, making small air holes in it. Every day, place something sweet on the surface of an anthill (for example, a candy) to feed the ants, and within a week you can enjoy a whole gallery of transitions built by hard-working insects.
When your child gets tired of watching the boiling life of an anthill, simply release the insects back into the garden. By the way, if you manage to catch the ant queen, the life of the home anthill will last significantly.
More money and you do not need to have great fun. So, you go out with the child to the street and right there, at the threshold of the house, take out a five-ruble coin and throw it up so that it falls next to it. If the coin fell eagle up – go to the right, if tails are visible – to the left.
Reach the nearest intersection and again toss a coin, which will show you the way. Curiosity is already covering you: where do we eventually come to?
Why not take a guidebook, going for a walk around the yard, neighborhood, dacha town? Take a walk with your child, let him show you his favorite places, becoming your guide for a while.
You will see that the kids pay attention not to the same objects, things and places that adults. He may be interested in a broken pipe or a hole under the house where cats hide.
All the “sights” should be described in your guidebook, and you can take pictures of the most interesting places or collect souvenirs there – all this is then easy to paste on the page. Finish schemes, indexes – everything that you consider necessary for such a serious edition.
We need a “sponsored” vegetable garden with cucumbers growing on it. When the little yellow flowers fall on the cucumber plant and tiny ovaries of cucumbers appear, you need to take an empty glass and always a transparent bottle, stick a cucumber into it and leave the bottle on the garden bed.
As time passes, a good strong cucumber will grow inside. Now you can cut it from the stalk and leave it in the bottle.
A dozen adults will puzzle over how they managed to shove a handsome green man in a narrow neck.
When the first apples begin to be poured with delicious juice in the summer, you need to cut out small simple silhouettes, letters or some sign from foil and stick them on the fruit. Once ripe, the apple will change color, but the area under the foil will remain the same, so after harvesting you will only have to remove a shiny piece of paper and marvel at someone’s profile, initials or figure.
This game is simple. Returning from a walk, the child must show what he saw during his journey through the magical world of a courtyard, park or other place. He can use toys and household items, but he should not say a single word.
If you have two children, let one child comment on the gestures and pantomime of the other: you will have a real film story with a separate image and sound. The first player can use different sounds, imitate street noise, birds singing. It makes sense to meet the most successful “episodes” with applause, let the children feel your support. n
