Registration at the place of residence is simply necessary for solving a mass of formal issues. For example, without it, you will not be able to get a medical insurance policy, stand in a queue at a kindergarten and enroll in a school.
In general, the thing is very useful, and it is not difficult to get it.
- Statement of the mother (father) on the registration of the child at the place of residence of the mother (father).
- Extracts from personal accounts and house books from the place of residence of the father and mother
- Help from the second parent that the child is not registered with him at the place of residence
- Child’s birth certificate (with copy)
- Passports of parents (with a copy)
- Marriage certificate (if registered)
- A statement from the second parent that he does not object to the registration of the child
We recommend clarifying the list of required documents in the district MFC.
You can register a newborn only at the place of residence of both or one of the parents. Please note that for this you do not need the consent of the owner of the apartment or persons living in the living space with you.
In the case of temporary (at least 90 days) stay of children in residential premises that are not their place of permanent residence (for example, visiting grandmothers), registration of children at the place of stay is required. At the same time, unlike the child’s registration at the place of permanent residence, a child can be registered at the passport office not only on the basis of parents’ documents, but also other close relatives (in addition to parents, the Family Code also includes grandmothers, grandfathers, brothers and sisters) if these close relatives are with their children in the appropriate place of temporary residence.
The law includes any residential premises that are not a place of permanent residence, including hotels, motels, hospitals, campgrounds, etc., as places of temporary stay. When a child is registered at the place of temporary stay, his registration at the place of permanent residence is preserved.
The policy of compulsory medical insurance gives a citizen of the Russian Federation the right to receive free medical care in any district clinic, even if he is not registered in this area. You can get the policy in the clinic or the office of the insurance company, for this you need only two documents: a child’s birth certificate (with registration) and a parent’s passport.
At the time of making the policy, you will receive a temporary document, which in its functions completely replaces the permanent one, and after 30 days the new OMS policy will already be waiting for you.
… place of registration does not match the place of actual residence
Do not worry, just inform about it in the hospital – patronage will come to your address and further medical services will be provided exactly at the place of actual stay. It does not affect the receipt of the policy OMS at all.
… a newborn who received an OMS policy temporarily changes his place of residence
For example, together with my mother she leaves for the summer with her grandmother. If you are going to be a guest for more than 90 days, but less than 6 months, make a temporary registration for yourself and your baby.
If you have a policy, you can get medical care for free in any region of Russia.
… you want to issue your baby lmerry
No problems, but you must make an OMS policy. In case of emergency, it can bring even more benefits.
