Long since the heroines of Russian folklore have become owners of thick luxurious hair. Beautiful, healthy hair carried mystical power.
To this day, a mop of shiny, silky hair gives confidence, improves mood, and perhaps even pushes the representatives of the stronger sex to the exploits!
What to do if the hair has lost its natural shine, grew dull and began to look lifeless?
There are many causes of hair disease: nervous feelings, lack of vitamins, hormonal alteration (pregnancy, for example). It is also important the influence of external factors: direct sunlight, high temperatures, improperly selected cosmetics.
Physiological hair changes occur throughout the year. On a person’s day, between 30 and 120 hairs fall out, which is considered normal.
A woman, for example, is less susceptible to baldness precisely because the roots of her hair “sit” 2 millimeters deeper than men’s. And the term of “life” of the hair on the head of the stronger sex on average 2 years, while the weak – 4−5 years.
It is a shame if you lose hair because of improper care. The basis of care for hair is washing.
The frequency of washing hair depends on the rate of contamination, which is directly related to the type of hair and scalp.
As you know, hair is normal, oily and dry. Hair normal type of elastic, easy to stack and comb.
Normal hair does not require special care.
The main thing is to keep them in the same condition. Oily hair depends on the activity of the sebaceous glands of the scalp, which is purely individual and is laid genetically.
It is recommended to wash oily hair as it is contaminated, but not more often than in 2–3 days using shampoos with a high content of detergents. Avoid the formulas “2 in 1”, they are not intended for greasy hair.
Dry hair is easily confused, difficult to comb, and split at the ends. It is enough to wash them 2 times a week with shampoo with the addition of moisturizers.
A healthy scalp is a guarantee of beautiful and thick hair. It performs the same functions as body skin, but its ecosystem is different. The microflora of the scalp should be in perfect balance with the hair follicles, as well as the sebaceous and sweat glands.
An interaction occurs between these elements, supported by skin fat, which stimulates the natural defense mechanisms of the scalp. If the process is disturbed, irritation may occur.
Absolutely healthy scalp is rare. Most often, it is either excessively oily or slightly dry (the type of skin corresponds to the type of hair). The first thing to do to avoid discomfort is to choose the right shampoo.
It must correspond to the type of scalp, because the masks and rinses affect only the hair along its length, and not directly on the scalp.
The pH level of the shampoo should be as close as possible to the pH level of the skin (between 5 and 6), so that after washing, the activity of the beneficial microorganisms will begin again. The choice of “detergent” depends on the result that you want to achieve.
For example, lipid components help prevent hair loss, natural proteins give volume, and ceramides restore and strengthen the hair structure from the inside. Preferring natural cosmetics that do not contain parabens, you save yourself from unwanted effects of synthetic agents or allergies.
After using the shampoo, the scalp and hair must be nourished. To do this, use the conditioner, rinse aid or balm. The balm acts on the skin as a moisturizer.
Rinse facilitates brushing. Conditioner makes hair docile.
However, remember that these products have only a cosmetic effect (they can only optically mask the existing shortcomings). For “restoration work” there are means of express treatment – they smooth the hair and have a nourishing effect on the hair follicle.
For a deeper therapeutic effect, use “caring” masks based on herbal ingredients (Karite oil, olive extract). They are applied along the entire length of the hair for a period of 2 to 15 minutes 1-2 times a week.
If you have long hair, it is good to have in your arsenal products enriched with argan oil, which prevents the ends from being cut.
When itching or dandruff, use drugs with the addition of rosemary, eucalyptus and lavender essential oils. Such mixtures stimulate blood microcirculation and eliminate irritation in the area of hair follicles.
And finally, if the strands have lost their luster and began to fall out, give them help by applying ampoules for therapeutic wrapping. Tea tree oil, which is part of the product, has a beneficial effect on the scalp, helps to cleanse it and improve blood circulation.
Having thick and healthy hair is, of course, good, but not always enough to produce a stunning effect. In our time to create an individual image of funds abound. At your disposal are a variety of mousses, foams, gels, waxes and styling varnishes.
Imagine, experiment – and you will surely create a sensation with your stunning and stylish haircut.
And most importantly, remember that hair care, as, indeed, for any other part of the body, is a lifelong affair. Take care of your hair, care for them, and then they will radiate beauty and health.
