Have you thought about long-term make-up? Let’s see what it is.
What is permanent makeup?
The permanent makeup technique is essentially a tattoo. A master with a special fine needle penetrates the skin, but only to a depth of 1 mm and transports the mineral crystals with paint. For this procedure, use a variety of paints with colored pigments of organic and inorganic origin.
Permanent makeup allows you to adjust the shape of the eyebrows, give them a beautiful bend, make it visually thicker. Each hair will be drawn with thin lines, the colors are matched to the natural color, so the eyebrows will look like their own.
Contour permanent eyelid makeup replaces eyeliner, making the eyes more expressive. You can make both a natural contour and arrows. A permanent makes it possible to change the shape of the eyes – to make it visually more elongated, to correct the asymmetry.
Micropigmentation of the lips allows you to give them your chosen color, desired shape and volume, to lift the corners. Applying the contour does not spread lipstick and shine. A permanent contour is drawn just above the natural one, and the gap is filled with a natural tint paint.
How does this happen?
First of all, you will discuss with the master the color and shape of future changes, then you will draw makeup (eyebrows – every hair, line of the eyelid and lips – along the contour) and only after that will they begin to do tattooing directly.
Some experts offer drawing the form of makeup and the selection of colors for another master makeup artist. This is a very gross mistake – after all, the contour drawn in pencil under anesthesia may well change its shape. It is desirable that the master did the whole procedure.
Since tattooing is painful, anesthesia is used: special injections are made for the lips and eyebrows, drops are placed in the eyes with anesthetic properties, and a special anesthetic cream is applied to the eyelids. Therefore, the procedure can be practically painless and takes 2-3 hours.
How long is the healing process after the procedure?
After applying the permanent eyelids in the places where needle injections occurred, puffiness will appear, which will disappear the next day. Eyebrows and lips heal a little longer. Eyebrows immediately become very bright, irritation appears.
On the second day, the brows are covered with a crust, consisting of dried lymph. The same crust also occurs on the lips – lasts about 5-6 days. Cork in any case can not be ripped off. In most cases, after the procedure, rashes of herpes appear on the skin of the lips, so stock up on antiherpetic drugs. From anesthesia immediately after the procedure, the lips also become bright and swollen.
On the first day after the tattoo, they can only be soaked with a paper napkin with special preparations (the master will advise them to you) or simply with a napkin soaked in clean water. Further, on the second day, the red can be masked with a layer of cosmetics. After the tattoo, a week can not sunbathe, steam out the face, do peeling, take a bath. Sometimes there is a need for correction, it is done after a month.
What can and can not before the procedure of permanent makeup?
On this day, it is forbidden to drink alcohol, coffee, and especially, pain relievers, as well as drugs that thin the blood. For a week, find yourself from sunbathing and visiting a solarium. The ban also applies to visiting the bath, sauna, swimming pool.
Permanent makeup has a number of contraindications. Tattooing should not be done to patients with diabetes, asthma and skin diseases, hemophilia. In case of aggravated herpes, make-up on the lips is strictly prohibited. During menstruation and pregnancy also do not make a permanent.
How long will the shade of a permanent be bright and saturated?
Colored pigment crystals are fixed in the upper layers of the skin for a long time, but the capillary blood circulation in the skin cells gradually washes out the entire color of them. Over time, color saturation disappears, gradually fading away.
The time of the brightness of the tattoo makeup depends on the speed of the metabolic processes: for young girls it goes faster and the color disappears in about 2-3 years, at an older age – in about 5-7 years.
So the choice is yours. But do not forget that the permanent for a long time, and you can not change it in a day, if the fashion changes or you decide to change the image.
