I want to share my experience of washing hair with mustard. I use regular mustard powder, which can be bought at any grocery store.
The thought of washing the head with mustard came to me from the pages of the Internet when I was looking for some natural method of hair care.
Why precisely mustard wash head? Just for me personally, it was the most convenient option. Both financially and on time (which is the preparation of the detergent, which is the process itself).
For about a year, I was washing my head with mustard powder diluted in a little water. I will not say that there were very strong changes, but the changes were quite visible.
By nature (or, more precisely, since childhood) my hair is thin, brittle, oily at the roots, and at the ends dry. Soap is always their shampoo. Tried different – from the most simple and cheap, to branded, expensive, which in theory should improve the condition of the hair. I must say that expensive shampoos really had a little effect. The hair was thicker, a little thicker … and that was it.
Having washed my head with mustard for about a year, I somehow baked my head and again returned to the gampun balsam-rinse. It was then that I noticeably saw the difference! Improvements from washing mustard frowned so gradually that I did not particularly notice them, as if everything was as it should be.
Somewhere after a month of resuming shampooing my hair, my hair began to fall out very badly. They looked VERY thin and thin. On the comb, after combing, there was again a lot of hair. Although they looked more brilliant after washing and outwardly seemed to be even more beautiful than after mustard, but the condition became just worse on the face.
Washing the hair with mustard gives (personally in my case gave):
– The strength of the hair, they fall out less, almost do not fall out, you can say;
– How easy it is to comb just do not compare! After washing my hair, I can leave my hair without combing it and then very quickly, after 3-4 minutes it is ideal to put it on. And after the shampoo, God forbid, do not immediately brush your hair while your hair is still wet, and do not set directions – the hair remembers all roosters, all the wrong directions and then it’s impossible to get something neat on your head without extension tools, such as wetting with water or varnish. Yes, and that sense is usually a little.
That is, when washing with mustard, the hair becomes more flexible, as it were, obedient. Where you scratch them, they lie there;
– Fat less hair and less. If I washed the shampoo once every 3 days, then I brought the mustard up gradually with shampooing up to 1 time per week. In this case, the hair looks clean. If there is a delay in shampooing for a couple of days, they look better than the same delay in shampooing;
1 tablespoon mustard powder per liter of warm water
The prescription is still rinsing with herbs, but I never tried to do it.
And I take a little more water for that amount. Although it happened that you overdo it with mustard, that when you wash your head, it tingles in your eyes and in your nose. This is a fairly strong solution. At first, I did this =)
To remove the fat from the roots better. Then the hair was rearranged, it became less fat, and I already began to make such a solution that suits me better.
I wash my head in a small basin, pouring the hair from the back of the head from the dipper, and dipping the crown directly into the basin. I soak all hair properly, helping myself with my free hand, rub my head as if soaped with shampoo. Then I rinse in 2-3 basins of clean water. It is possible more, it is possible less. Who both like and how to. If you rinse a little, the mustard slices remain in the hair. When the hair dries, when combing, all these pieces, flakes, fall out of the hair. But this can only be condoned if you sit at home on this day.
The washing itself takes me 5 minutes to rinse, i.e. no more than washing with ordinary shampoo.
Have you tried to wash your hair with some folk remedies?
