Girls who follow their nails and love to try something new will definitely like the main trends of 2014, because this year naturalness is in fashion.
Under the cut my step-by-step instruction with a large number of photos.
one) Light shades of lacquers, in white and beige palette.. White nails are of course unaccustomed to us, but you can avoid the effect of zamatochnosti by buying a shade not of pure white light, but of a warmer milky shade. In addition, white lacquer should be dense. Beige, close to the color of the nail plate or leather varnishes on the contrary, should be translucent, glass.
2) French and moon manicure. Naturalness is the main thing in this manicure. If the service jacket repeats the natural free edge of the nail, the moon manicure repeats the nail lunula – a light semi-circle near the cuticle. Of course, in a manicure the drawing of a moon is conditional – as a rule, a large surface is coated with light varnish to emphasize attention. In addition, the moon can be of different size and shape on different nails, so for symmetry it is painted everywhere equally large and semi-circular.
3) Manicure-ombre, which I will demonstrate today.
The presented manicure will incorporate all three trends – it will be an ombre manicure, made with white and beige lacquer, and which white lacquer will be located closer to the free edge of the nail, a sort of French-ombre.
3. Clear varnish (base and top)
7. Orange Stick (or brush, or marker, which is more convenient for you)
8. A piece of foam rubber. Foam rubber should be fine-grained so that the coating is smoother and without bubbles.
You need to start with the usual hygienic manicure – bath, trimming or moving the cuticle, moisturizing the cuticle cream. It is important to degrease the nail plate with a cotton swab with nail polish remover (WDNS should also be without any oils). Varnish will fall flat only on the fat-free nail. There is no need to illustrate this stage, here everyone does how he is comfortable.
Stage 1. We apply a base transparent varnish. Let it dry.
Stage 2 Then apply a thin layer of beige lacquer. It serves as a substrate. On the bald spots and irregularities can be ignored – this is not the final layer.
Stage 3 Apply varnishes on a sponge, slightly mixing them at the border. Somewhere it is advised to mix varnishes on glass or plastic, but I do not see the need for this, it mixes perfectly on a sponge and gives a normal transition on the nail.
4 stage. We press the sponge to the nail so that the white varnish is at the edge of the nail. We press several times, carefully painting the sides of the nail. To avoid bubbles, press the sponge slowly, without beating the varnish like a mixer. One application of varnish on a sponge is enough for painting two nails at most, therefore, in a timely manner, refresh the paint on the sponge. Let this varnish dry for about 15 minutes.
Stage 5 Once again we pass a sponge with two varnishes on the nails, enhancing the color and sealing the coating.
6 stage. We work out minor irregularities, strengthen either white or beige color. To do this, you need to apply varnish on the edge of the sponge and walk it on that part of the nail, where required. I would advise everyone to enhance the white color at the ends of the nails, but we still have a French jacket.
Stage 7, the most difficult. Scratch all that fell on the cuticle and rollers around the nail. In general, it is possible to do without this stage – in advance to glue the space around the nail with adhesive tape, but I think that this is too dreary.
The biggest thing I gently cleaned with a cotton pad. And the little things around the nail are wiped with a cotton swab, but I wind it not on a toothpick, but on an orange stick, it’s more convenient.
8 stage. We cover everything with a transparent varnish for fixing and leveling the surface of the nail. What happened in the end:
It is very difficult to catch the lighting so that this transition can be clearly seen, but in reality this gradient is very noticeable.
