Only a few years ago, extended nails were a novelty. Today they are no less popular than natural ones. An interesting fact is that in ancient Egypt, women put on their fingertips long thimbles, painted with bright colors. This was considered an expensive pleasure that only representatives of the highest caste could afford. Today, extended nails are not a luxury.
Drawings on the nails can be divided into three groups.
1. Volumetric, which are obtained by the method of artistic modeling of acrylic. Nails, decorated in this way, look very elegant, but not suitable for everyday wear because of too elaborate appearance and inconvenience. There is a high risk to catch the decor on the clothes and to tighten or damage the manicure.
2. Art painting – the most popular and affordable way to decorate the extended nails, which is performed using acrylic or gel paints, or varnishes. The result will directly depend on the skill of the specialist. The same design, made by different masters, will look different.
3. Aquarium design – is a painting on the nails, in which a thick layer of acrylic is applied to the main ornament, due to which the drawing appears to be voluminous.
Splayed nails always look beautiful and stylish. In addition, such a manicure requires correction much less frequently than a natural one.
