Anubias zhille: description, content, photo, video

Under natural conditions, anubias zhille grows along the banks of rivers and swampy water bodies located in Gabon, Zaire, Cameroon, Congo and Nigeria. Under natural conditions, the plant reaches a huge size, while in aquarium conditions it has a tiny size. Immediately it should be noted that this plant being planted in an aquarium under water grows very poorly and only for a short period of time.

To a greater extent it is suitable for keeping in wet conditions of paludarium. For this reason, this type of Anubias can be found very rarely in the collections of aquarists.

Water conditions:
Temperature – 12–30 ° С
PH value – 6.0–7.0
Water hardness – 0–15 ° dGH
Light level – any

Comfortable parameters: water temperature 22-26 ° C, pH 6.5–7.5 acidity. Filtering is required.

Monitor the condition of the leaf plates of Anubias and the vellus, and if algae appear on their surface, remove the deposit. Lighting recommend medium brightness, intensity of about 0.2-0.3 W / liter. The length of daylight hours is about 10 hours.

The plant is able to tolerate long-term shading.

In favorable conditions, Anubias Ville will flourish, releasing a peduncle about a quarter of a meter in length. A flower up to 3 cm in length has 3-5 stamens.

After flowering, seeds ripen about a millimeter in size. It is rather difficult to plant a plant with seeds, it is much easier to plant anubias by vegetative means, dividing its rhizomes into small parts.
