Spotted spinal compaction well complements the home aquarium

Hello dear aquarists. Rasbora spotted belongs to the carp family (Cyprin>

The body of the spotted spine rasbor on the sides is strongly laid. The fish has a thin tail stem and a two-bladed tail plank.

The main color of a hydrobiont is yellowish-silver, which gradually turns into a silvery-white shade when approaching the belly of the fish. The back is painted in a brownish-olive shade. The sides of the fish are iridescent golobovilno specks.

The location of the mouth of the fish is upper, the eyes are large given the small end. There is a black spot with a white edging on the dorsal smooth.

In captivity, the fish grows up to 7 centimeters in length. How to distinguish male from female?

It’s elementary, Watson, as they say in the famous work of Arthur Conan Doyle. In females, the tail fin has a yellowish tint, and in the male it is reddish.

Also, the samochka will be several more males.

As well as the cynopyatnaya rasbora, the spotty-related congener is a schooling fish, therefore, in order to check out to the full the beauty of the fish, you will need to buy from 10 individuals. This is a fairly peaceful inhabitant of an aquarium, so you can use guramok, swordtails, molly, guppy, haracin (neons, crescents, rodostomuses) as neighbors.

The fish is very mobile and spends all its time in the middle or upper layers of water. When you make out your aquarium, do not forget to leave enough space for swimming fish.

In order to successfully contain a spotted spine, you will need a 50-liter jar covered with a cover glass. We plant aquarium plants, we find interesting snags and stones.

To provide the fishes with a solid swimming ground, plant grass along the edges of an aquas, preferably dlinnoshebelku (rogolistnikik, elodeya, kabomba, ambulia, vallisneria). The water in the aquarium must meet the following requirements:

  • rigidity: 4-10 degrees;
  • acidity: pH 6-7;
  • water temperature: 23-28 degrees;
  • diffuse lighting, filtration and eration of aqua (preferably a peat filter);
  • weekly water changes.

They feed on spotted spawn razboru live food – small bloodworm and crustaceans, which must be pre-frozen. You can also use their substitutes.

So the nature has disposed, but the spotty-sprinkled rassbor often overeats. Based on this factor, it would be useful to arrange fasting days for your pets.

By 10 months of life, the fish will become mature. In the role of spawning can be a small 10-liter jar, which also needs to be covered with a cover glass. Before planting fish to spawn, the aquarium should be thoroughly sanitized.

Aquarium plants must also be treated and clean. The level of the aquarium water in spawning make no more than 20 centimeters.

Use distilled distilled water. To speed up the process of starting an aquarium for spawning, add a bit of water from the common aquas.

It is also recommended to dry the aquarium water intended for spawning. This can be done with tetratorumin or peat itself.

At the bottom of the aquarium it is necessary to lay a separator net and plant plants with an elongated stem and wide leaves. Optimal hydrophytes for spawning – various cryptocorynes, Thai fern. Water in spawning should meet the following requirements:

  • weak diffused light;
  • filtration and aeration;
  • acidity 5.5-6.5 pH, hardness: not more than 3 degrees;
  • water temperature is about 27 degrees.

Before placing the future producers in the spawning aquarium, they must be held apart for about two weeks. At the same time they need to be strengthened to feed a variety of foods.

In order not to riddle the water in spawning, parents stop feeding. By spawning time lasts a couple of hours. During this time, the female can sweep away about 200 small eggs.

After spawning, producers need to be deposited in a common jar. Do not forget to darken the spawn after that. My advice to you: regularly remove unfertilized eggs from an aquarium.

The incubation period for the little things is up to 36 hours. After 3-5 days, the fry themselves already swim and eat. To feed the young from the start need infusoria.

When the young reach 3 months of age, the fish takes the form and color of the parents.
