Danio pink: content, compatibility, breeding, photo-video review

This article depicts and describes the pink, artificial breed danio rerio! True danios pink looks like this:

Order, family: Carp.

Comfortable water temperature: 21-25 ° C

Ph: ph 6.5–7.5, water hardness: 5-15 °.

Aggressiveness: not aggressive.

Compatibility Danio Pink: compatible with all “peaceful fish”: danios, terence, minor, tetra, scalar, soma, etc.

Useful tips: In my opinion the most beautiful fish of the kind “danok.” Look great flock, on a dark (blue) background of the aquarium film.

Fishes quick and gregarious. They can coexist with many species of fish, even with fish of medium and increased aggression: scalar, goura and even with small cichlids.

In order that the pink color of the fish was juicy, I recommend to buy specialized food (for example, Tetra-color).

Description:

Danio pink lives in the slowly flowing waters of Southeast Asia.

A small fish with a body length of up to 4.5 cm. The body is elongated, flattened laterally. Body of fish beautiful pink, along which alternate white stripes pass.

Fins transparent, colorless.

Fish are kept in the aquarium flock (from 6 copies). Danio pink contain in general aquarium with a length of 60 cm and a volume of 20 liters. The decorations of the aquarium can act – thickets and floating plants, stones, snags.

Fishes also need free space for swimming.

Comfortable water parameters: temperature 21-25 ° С, dh 5-15 °, ph 6.5–7.5, regular weekly water changes (1/5) will have a positive effect on the health of the fish. Need filtering and aeration.

Feeding Danio Aquarium Fish must be correct: balanced, diverse. This fundamental rule is the key to successful keeping of any fish, be it guppies or astronotuses.

Article “How and how much to feed aquarium fish” talks in detail about this, it outlines the basic principles of the diet and feeding regime of fish.

In this article, we note the most important thing – feeding fish should not be monotonous; both dry and live food should be included in the diet. In addition, you need to take into account the gastronomic preferences of a particular fish and, depending on this, include in its diet ration either with the highest protein content or vice versa with vegetable ingredients.

Popular and popular feed for fish, of course, are dry food. For example, hourly and everywhere can be found on the aquarium shelves of food company “Tetra” – the leader of the Russian market, in fact, the range of feeds of this company is striking. In the “gastronomic arsenal” of Tetra are included as individual feeds for a certain type of fish: for goldfish, for cichlids, for loricarids, guppies, labyrinths, arovan, discus, etc.

Also, Tetra has developed specialized foods, for example, for enhancing color, fortified or for feeding fry. Detailed information on all Tetra feeds, you can find on the official website of the company – here.

It should be noted that when buying any dry food, you should pay attention to the date of its production and shelf life, try not to buy food by weight, and also keep the food in a closed state – this will help avoid the development of pathogenic flora in it.

Two males are planted on one female for spawning. Sometimes they practice group spawning with the same sex ratio. Females, like other species of this genus, are susceptible to the formation of a cyst, which makes it sterile.

And since the expression of eggs from small fish is problematic, it is better to select females under the age of one year for spawning. The selection of males is less complicated.

Approximately two weeks before spawning, females are upset from males, kept separately and fed abundantly with live food (bloodworm, pipeker, enkhitrei). During this time, the belly of the female is strongly rounded, which indicates its readiness for spawning.

For reproduction of pink danios, a spawning area of 10 liters per female is settled.

The form of their bodies by nature itself is adapted for rapid movements.
At the bottom of the stack separator grid, which should cover the entire bottom and is located at a height of about two centimeters from the bottom. Instead of separator mesh, you can use small-leaved plants pressed to the bottom by small stones. Water for breeding pink danios should be fresh settled.

Approximately one third is boiled for optimal stiffness. It is still better to check.

It should be no more than 10 ° dH. pH = 7. The temperature at landing in the spawning area of fish should be the one at which they were kept until that moment. The water level should be no more than 5 – 8 centimeters above the separator grid.

In the spawning area in the evening, the males are placed first, and after a few hours, the females. Set on the thermostat the temperature is 4 – 6 degrees higher.

It should be 26-28 ° C. And after that they turn off the light in the breeding ground.

The next morning, with the first rays of the sun or with the inclusion of artificial lighting, spawning begins.

It lasts for several hours. During this time, the female sweeps up to two hundred eggs gently milky. After spawning, it is necessary to remove the producers from the spawning area.

You can remove the plants and separator grid by carefully and carefully brushing off their eggs.

Incubation lasts about one and a half – two days. And in three or four days the fry will swim, and they will need to be fed with infusoria, Artemia nauplii, living dust. As the fry grow, it should be transferred to larger feed and to a larger aquarium.

Puberty reaches sexual maturity at six to eight months.

Reproduction of pink danios is not difficult, but requires accuracy. And you will definitely be rewarded for your efforts.
