Angelfish compatibility with other fish in the aquarium

Angelfish or angelfish attract aquarists with their unusual and graceful appearance. They are beautiful, intelligent, beautiful and very peace-loving pets.

These representatives of the cichlid genus are quite unpretentious in their care and have many varieties with interesting and bright colors. But before you buy an aquarium fish, you need to figure out with whom compatibility is observed with the scalar, and with whom it is better not to settle.

Angelfish are not whimsical in content

Compatibility of scalar with other fish is often problematic. To avoid conflicts between the inhabitants of the aquarium, simple rules should be followed:

  1. Angelfish are heat-loving individuals, so the neighborhood should be chosen accordingly. It is worth remembering that in general aquarium should be comfortable for all inhabitants.
  2. Angel neighbors should feel great in soft water. Because of this, even some cichlids and scalar compatibility for this factor do not have.
  3. The size of the house should be sufficient to accommodate a large number of fish. If it is close, then even the most peaceful individuals can show aggression.

Aquarium for scalar should be spacious. If closely, they will be aggressive.

  • Small fish often become prey for scalar.
  • Large individuals should also not be in the same tank with the angel, since the latter may suffer from their teeth.
  • The less nimble and nimble the fish will live in the aquarium, the better. Excessive fuss can be a stress for a calm scalar.
  • The fish in the aquarium is best to start keeping even fry together. This will allow them to gradually get used to each other. In adulthood, they will recognize their neighbor and behave towards him more friendly.
  • If a hooligan wound up in an aquarium, it should be moved to another house. If this is not done, it can disrupt the order and lead to aggressiveness on the part of other individuals.
  • Observing these conditions, it will be easy to pick up neighbors for your pet. And for a more complete understanding, you can use the table of compatibility of scalar with other fish.

This species of fish is distinguished by its peace-loving nature. Knowing with whom the angelfish live in the aquarium, you can find them good neighbors, with whom they will not have regular quarrels. First of all, such individuals include:

Somics are the calmest fishes. Most of their time they spend at the bottom of the aquarium.

The angel fish can feel great, swimming between plants just above its neighbors, so it is with catfish that it will have excellent compatibility with an artificial reservoir. The only thing you need to watch out for is som feed.

They should buy a separate dressing, which very quickly sinks to the bottom. Other varieties of food will simply not reach the bottom inhabitants – the scalars will eat everything.

    Angelfish perfectly coexist with catfish

  • Gourami and angelfish Feel great together in the same aquarium. Both varieties are calm and unobtrusive, they will not interfere with each other. But if they will have little space or they can not share the grass, then conflicts can begin. Therefore, the aquarium should be selected as much as possible.
  • Picilia get along well with the angels. They simply do not notice them in the aquarium, and therefore there will be no conflicts.
  • Labeo – These fish are quite large, so they will look very close to scalars very organically. But in the tank you can settle only one labo. A pair of individuals of this species will claim leadership in the aquarium and the angelfish will begin to survive.
  • With all of these fish problems usually aquarist does not arise. But there are some nuances in the content that should be followed.

In particular, this food – the angelfish are very voracious, if you do not follow them, then all the food will be eaten, and the rest of the inhabitants will get nothing.
